Question: What is Distributed Audio/Video?

Answer: Distributed audio and video (also known as whole house audio video) is, as the name suggests, a means of distributing audio and video though out a home usually with a single location that will house all the sources. Technology to do this has been around for quite some time; it has been only recently that consumers can have the magnitude of options and control that is available now.
Today, we can distribute your entire CD collection, Internet radio, iPod, DVD or BluRay collection and most any source you can think of to any room in your house that has a pair of speakers (audio) or TV (video). With today switchers, amplifiers and control systems, this audio or video can be controlled with a keypad, remote control, Iphone, Ipad and other ways
